People are getting pushed, and that’s why I’m running to make sure that we cap property taxes for everyone. And for our seniors, we eliminate all non-essential property taxes for them and also quit taxing them on their retirement benefits. We’re actually taxing our seniors on their retirement benefits. IRAs, pensions, 401Ks, Social Security. One of 14 states that do it, and I think it’s enough is enough. They’ve worked hard, they’ve earned it, it’s their money, they should be able to keep it.
