Janelle King, who serves on the Georgia State Elections Board, joins Tug and Los to discuss the FBI’s raid of the Fulton County Election Offices. What were they looking for, what did they cart away, and what happened to trigger this investigation in the first place? Janelle, Tug, and Los get to the bottom of it all.
The warrant, from my understanding, requested pretty much everything from 2020. So that’s all the ballots, all the tabulator tapes, sign-in sheets, I mean everything. It asks for all the ballot images, voter rolls from that time period. These are all documents that, during a normal election, some of them may not still be available. However, in 2020, there were a lot of lawsuits that were filed within the two-year time frame, which was from 2020 to 2022, and that put a stay on these documents. So these documents should be there. If they are not there or they’ve been destroyed, that’s a whole other issue.
