Georgia State Senate candidate Mike Dudgeon joins “The Morning Xtra” to discuss property taxes, school choice, government spending, and what he sees as the future of conservatism in Georgia. Dudgeon explains why he believes taxpayers are being overcharged, shares his concerns about DEI and education policy, and lays out his vision for Forsyth County and the state.
In my political career, I did six years in the House because I believe in term limits. And during that time, I voted against tax increases. I voted against these tax credits, and everybody thinks they’re a bad idea. But I was voting against them back in the day, helped get a bill passed to give terminally ill patients the right to choose their own treatment, and basically just tried to follow the conservative path.
