Fresh off his Republican runoff victory, Greg Dolezal joins “The Morning XTRA” to discuss the campaign, the road to November, and his vision for Georgia as he seeks to become the state’s next lieutenant governor. Dolezal weighs in on the governor’s race, election integrity, the special legislative session, and the challenges facing Georgia voters. Plus, why he believes Republicans must stay engaged heading into the general election.
You’ve got to go back to what these guys really believe. They want to defund the police. They do not believe in free market capitalism. They want to have a centralized control mechanism of the means of production. And so much of my campaign has been about the founding principles of this country, because I believe that they are the soil in which the seeds were planted that has given rise to the greatest period of human flourishing in the history of mankind.
