I have a lot of great things to say about President Trump. I talk about him all the time. I think that the ceasefire and the winding down of the conflict in Gaza with the Israelis is great. I think his decision to use pressure to lower interest rates is awesome. I think sealing the border is a great thing. I think navigating the government shutdown and being tough and kind of holding your principles is the right thing to do. I think the second version of Donald Trump in 2024 is so far and away better than the first version that you got in 2016.

I have been somebody who’s been critical of him and I still would. I think that’s the beauty of conservatives. I think it’s the beauty of free speech. I think that just because you make a mistake, it doesn’t define you. I think that Trump is a generational type leader.
Ben examines the track record of President Trump in his second term compared to his first and believes Trump 2.0 is off to a much better start than his previous administration. From his economic policies to his foreign negotiations, and much to the dismay of Democrats, President Trump just keeps on winning.
Are there there some criticisms to be layed on Trump? Sure, and Ben brings a few up today that are on his mind. However, overall, Ben lays out more evidence for why this run is better than his last and why Americans can be optimistic about better times ahead long before his term ends.
