IT IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE DUMBEST THING WE DO IN SPORTS, AND BELIEVE ME, WE DO ALOT OF DUMB STUFF…..

THE PRE NFL DRAFT TALK.

“TENNESSEE, YOU’RE ON THE CLOCK”

Everything you read, hear, discuss, mock & re mock is garbage.  The teams are planting stories, the media is being used  as “sources’ and it’s all part of this silly chess game called strategy for draft day.

As I’m writing this, the Falcons have a scheduled press conference tomorrow for Coach Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff to tell you what they’re planning for the draft.

I’ll tell you what the Falcons are planning.

They’re drafting a stud on defense who can rush the passer.

They’re getting a receiver

They’re getting an offensive lineman

They’re getting a def back/safety somewhere along the way

and I”m getting a headache.

There.

Done.

Random thoughts…. when I meet young men like DJ White, Jamal Golden and Adam Gotsis out of Georgia Tech, I find myself pulling for them come draft weekend. They’re tremendous fellas.

Smart, well mannered, and handled themselves with professionalism while in studio.

Whoever gets em in the NFL draft is lucky.

That Gday was impressive.

I absolutely couldn’t believe that 100K people flooded Sanford Stadium, and the streets surrounding to support Kirby.

Something special is happening in Athens.

I’m going on my girls beach trip in a week.  This is our 10th year ! Wow.

Very lucky to be surrounded by fabulous friends!

Happy for Steak . He was voted the Best Sports Radio host in ATlanta.  He’s great.  He tries to be so tough… he’s a very sensitive kind man, I’m glad he’s my friend.
