FALCONS NOW ON A PLEASANT PERCH

The Falcons took the weekend off after a huge beat down of the Buccaneers on Thursday night. Sunday wasn’t the best as the Saints (4-4) and Panthers (3-5) refused to cooperate with loses. Yet the news for the Falcons was really good. The Vikings fell for the third straight week to (5-3) and the Packers were upset at home by the Colts to fall to (4-4). That allowed the Falcons to move into the two seed.

Sitting in the two seed gives the Falcons a tremendous reason to focus going into their work week facing the Eagles in Philly. The two seed and the three seed provide completely different paths to a Super Bowl. Having to win one home game after a bye week is a fantastic advantage. The Falcons need to lock down this opportunity. Beware! The Eagles have been amazing at home…Just ask the Steelers and the Vikings.

GEORGIA LEARNS TO CLOSE OUT A ROAD WIN
2000px-Auburn_University_Athletics_logoGrow over the course of a season and stop making the same mistakes. That is the goal for a team struggling at 4-4. If the Dawgs had not locked down win number 5 at Kentucky, a .500 season and bowl eligibility was in danger. Great job by the Dawgs in finding a way to get it done. The comeback was solid and the execution on offense when they needed it most was outstanding.

Trying to beat Auburn is another story, but the Dawgs still don’t have that signature win. This would be a great time to set yourself up for a winning season.

OUR NEW HOME!
new-office-renderingI wish that I could show you our brand new offices. They look amazing. The Battery is going to become a thriving destination with a world class ballpark at the end of the block. It’s going to be fun. Be here for the ride!
