RadarOnline: Kordell Stewart wins defamation case against man who claimed to be his gay lover
Kordell Stewart, retired NFL player, ex-husband of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” castmate Porsha Williams and former sports talk host,
has won a defamation case against a viral video star who claimed they were gay lovers.
RadarOnline got a hold of the lawsuit.
Stewart, who has previously denied he is gay, won a default judgment in DeKalb County Superior Court in a suit against Andrew Caldwell. He filed the original complaint last October and won his case earlier this month.
Stewart won by default because Caldwell never showed up in court.
He is scheduled to appear in court December 12 for the judge to determine damages.
“I had everything that Porsha got,” Caldwell said to The ShakeUP Morning Show last year. “I had bags, purses, cars. I’m in a Jaguar right now. Honey, did you see that Jaguar over there?”
He later retracted those statements to TMZ but the damage was done.
After the news of the lawsuit results came out, Caldwell on Facebook Live claimed he was never served the lawsuit.
Broncos DC Wade Phillips trolls former team with a 'We Dat!'
Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips couldn’t resist a celebratory “We Dat!” via Twitter on Monday after his Broncos beat the New Orleans Saints 25-23 in the city where Phillips and his father, Bum, used to coach.

Phillips later made sure that readers knew he the comments were made in jest and that he respects the Saints and their fans:
Some people must have forgotten that my first D.C.job was with the Saints and I love New Orleans, the Saints and their passionate fans!
— Wade Phillips (@sonofbum) November 14, 2016
Phillips is known for his colorful personality — and for his snarky Twitter trolling.
Last year after a win over the Packers, he tweeted, “Chicken Parm tastes so good-I like it especially with Cheese.”
Phillips also had fun with himself earlier this month after he fractured a rib in a sideline collision:
Phillips’ Twitter handle is @sonofbum — a tribute to his dad.
“I picked it because I’m proud of him. A lot of people call me S.O.B., but that’s a different thing,” Phillips joked last year.
The “Who Dat?” chant actually became popular in New Orleans while Bum Phillips was coaching the Saints from 1981-1985. Wade served as his father’s defensive coordinator then interim coach after Bum was fired toward the end of the ’85 season.
Holy moly, the Browns can actually still make the playoffs
Cleveland is still ‘Believeland’ for the Browns.
The Cleveland Browns have a 0-10 record but believe it or not Browns could still make the playoffs – with could being the key qualifier.
Scott Patsko of Cleveland.com ran through scenarios where the Browns, despite being currently winless, could make the playoffs. Basically, they need a lot to happen. With the AFC North being a meh-fest, here’s how Cleveland could sneak in.
1. Obviously, the Browns need to win every remaining game. Good luck.
2. The Ravens need to lose every game. Again, unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
3. The Steelers can only win two of their next seven games – two of which are against the Browns.
4. The Bengals must beat the Ravens and win just two remaining games.
In this scenario, the Browns would end the season at 6-10 and tied with the Steelers, but Cleveland would win the AFC North on a tiebreaker. The Bengals would finish at 5-10-1 and the Ravens at 5-11. No team has ever finished at 6-10 and won their division.
Ex-Browns coach Butch Davis Lands Another College Job
Former Browns head coach Butch Davis will be introduced Tuesday as the new head coach at Florida International University, per multiple reports.
Pete Garcia, the athletic director at FIU, was the head of the personnel department for the Browns when Davis coached the Browns from 2001-04. The two had previously worked together at the University of Miami; Garcia has been at FIU since 2006.
Davis has been working in TV since being fired by the University of North Carolina in 2011. He was 24-35 in four years as Browns coach but remains the only coach to take the “new” Browns to the playoffs. That 2002 team went 9-7 and blew a big lead to the Steelers in the Wildcard round.
Hawks’ fourth-quarter defense best in NBA
The Hawks lead the NBA, by a wide margin, in allowing an average of just 20.1 points in the final period. The Celtics are second by allowing 25.8 fourth-quarter points.
The Hawks (7-2) have allowed a low of 13 points (Rockets). They have allowed opponents less than 20 points six times.
Overall, the Hawks are second in the league with a team defensive rating of 95.8. They trail only the Clippers at 92.7.
Report: NBA execs anticipate DeMarcus Cousins trade soon
The globe might be closer to a DeMarcus Cousins trade than it realizes.
While the Sacramento Kings don’t want to give up on this season, reality sounds like it has started to set in – Cousins hits the market in 2018 and the odds he decides to stick with the team seem grim.
That’s why sources told Sporting News’ Sean Deveney current trade rumors seem more realistic than ever:
“I’d say they have three months, tops,” one Western Conference general manager told Sporting News, requesting anonymity because he is not allowed to speak about other teams’ players. “Probably more like a month, or month-and-a-half, because the closer they get to the (February trade) deadline, the less they’re going to get back. If you’re trying to trade him the week of the deadline, it’s going to be tougher.”
The Kings are 4-7 and 10th in the Western Conference. Based on the above, if things don’t pick up before the deadline next year, Boogie could be on his way out of town.
Shannen Doherty Absent From Beverly Hills, 90210 Reunion Amid Cancer Battle, Co-Stars Honor Actress
Now we’re crying.
Most of the original cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 reunited at REWind Con in Chicago Saturday, some 26 years after the cult drama series premiered. Shannen Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh, was absent, as she is battling breast cancer. She recently underwent weeks of chemotherapy and said in late October she was set to have radiation treatments.
But her former co-stars who did attend the reunion had her in her thoughts, especially Jennie Garth.
The actress, who played Brenda’s frenemy Kelly Taylor, posted a touching message to Shannen on her Instagram page that day.
Jennie’s message also contained the words “Fight like a Brenda,” written in pink, along a pink ribbon promoting breast cancer awareness.
Shannen reposted Jennie’s message, adding, “I’m so proud of this friendship and the mutual respect and admiration we have for each other.”
Shannen and Jennie have reunited several times over the years, as have other former Beverly Hills, 90210 cast members.
In addition to Jennie, the show alumni who attended REWind Con Saturday were Jason Priestley (Brenda’s twin brother Brandon Walsh), James Eckhouse (their father Jim Walsh), Tori Spelling (Donna Martin), Christine Elise (Emily Valentine, Brandon—and Jason’s former flame), Luke Perry (Dylan McKay, Brenda and Kelly’s love interest), SAG-AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman) and Vincent Young (Noah Hunter, who made his first appearance in season eight).
The group sat down for a panel discussion, during which Perry gave a special shout-out to Doherty, and met with fans.
However, Ziering, who is away at Rhode Island Comic Con, joined Jason, Jennie, Tori and Gabrielle on FaceTime.
