Sean Davis: Corporate America Is Learning That Going Woke Isn’t A Good Business Strategy

Co-Founder and CEO of The Federalist Sean Davis joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to react to the Florida legislature passing a bill that would end Disney World’s special self-governing power in the state.

“The big corporations, these big oligarchs and monopolists are now tools of Left wing government power against us. Just look how they were able to do censorship, which government itself is not allowed to do. They went in and they got Twitter and they got Facebook and they got these tech companies to ban dissemination of completely accurate articles from Alexander Hamilton’s newspaper from being shared on the internet. Recall, the New York Post got banned for reporting information on the now President’s son and his foreign money laundering operations. So I think this is a much needed wake up call to corporate America that your little free ride for declaring war against half the country is over. And if you’re going to play stupid games, you’re going to win stupid prizes. Congrats, Disney. You can say goodbye to your tax breaks.”

Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to punish Disney World, took his fighter mentality to a new level. In retribution for Disney’s criticism of a new state law condemned by critics as “Don’t Say Gay,” DeSantis signed legislation on Friday, April 23, 2022, stripping the theme park of a decades-old special agreement that allowed it to govern itself.
